3 more days!

wow!! this week went by reaaaalllyyyy fast! I still can't believe how fast this year is going and how there's only 3 days left of my 8th grade year, actually last year here at ilima. anyways, this week was pretty good. I am still on probation but I still manage to come in for tutoring. and I'm starting to bring SOME of my grades. and this first 3 days, was all basically about testing and finals. I'm confident that I did good, but now we're all done with what we're doing in my classes. I also went to Campbell's grad for my brother, his friends &&' cousins. it was PAAACKED! &&' CRAZY LOUD HAHA

My highlight of the week is being able to bring up some of my grades. I was able to go on my free time to talk to my teachers and to redo work and get the low grade up, usually I wouldn't be able to because their either not there or I'm lazy but I finally did, and it makes me feel better. But my lowlight of the week, was not bringing up my D for English-.- I sill ask to bring it up and all, but mrs. Malachi doesn't bring grades up until last minute and she says that all late work were already due. But I still see people turn in work. But I will still try to find a way to ring these up, but overall it has been a great week. 

My lesson learned is to do things ahead of time, why? Because doing things ahead of time makes you feel good, getting things already done and you wouldn't have to stress and worry out at the end. If I was to do things late again, I'm sure I would get stressed because it would be like I didn't learn my lesson at all through these weeks and maybe my grade would've went up, and I should've talked to my teacher more about it and probation. of why it's so important, maybe they'd change it. And of course put all effort into my work, so I get a good grade on it, cause if not then my grade will probably remain the same. but I know what to do next time, I think this is my last weekly blog, but it's been a great week and year! Thanks 

7 days left...

this week was a great week. I never realized how fast this week went by though. this week, I still had to come in for tutoring, to bring up my grades. There was also, stem and awards night which was held on Thursday night, it went by pretty smoothly as well. Also, in all my classes we had projects and sbac tests which happened spot throughout the week, but I'm glad to say that we're almost finished.

My highlight of the week was being able to come in on time because I usually come late and also for being rewarded for leadership, dance, &&' bowling, I'm actually proud to be apart of those activities and programs because it kept me active and motivated me a lot throughout the years rather than not doing anything. but my lowlight of the week, was still having a hard time brining up my grades because I wouldn't have enough time to make up work and to turn it in on time. Also, my teachers would update my grades kinda late but not when I need them to. 

My lesson learned is to always make time to do things like RIGHT after school, before school, or maybe sometimes lunch or RIGHT when I get home, because things would have to get done right on time and not way after. and maybe when I turn in my wo k that has to now be regraded, ask and talk to my teachers about probation and leadership and ask nicely if they're Able to change my grades now. If I'm not able to redo work, maybe I should do extra credit and out more effort in my work with a lot more focus (not saying I don't already) but I actually thought my grades were gonna go down, but it's actually going to a higher C, which is like3, but overall it was a good week. 

Continuing grad forms,

This week was alright. I never really got to work or had to because Lori, jayde, and I, are still giving out graduation forms and whatever had to be done In our home room class. Also, there was pbs opt out on Friday,  but it was period threes job. And finally banquet pictures came in fridayyyy! Chee

My highlight of the week, is being able to come early enough each day, this week, because I've gotten to school at exactly 7:15 or before that. I was able to help others out like those who are in my period, but my lowlight of this week, is not being able to have my grades updated. I did bring my grades up and do talk to my teachers, but they didn't change my grades because of whatever reason, so I would have to stay on probation and wait for it to raise, but give out Graduation forms as well. 

My lesson learned is to never wait last minute and try talking to my teachers about my grades, and explain to them why it has to be changed right away. So I'm able to work with my group more because sometimes they don't know what to do or sometimes are not able to come early enough to set up or work for things and so I wouldn't have to worry after a while. Plus, I wouldn't want to stay on probation for anything but to show effort and improving before the end.

TVTVTVTV

this was a great week. it was all about passing out graduation packets, still will be going on up til may 19 and we also had an assembly on Friday, for all students ( entire school ) to go to James Campbell high school, to talk all about bullying. Also, for the 8th graders orientation, welcoming us to the teachers, counsellors, the schhoool, etc. This week was an improving, great week. 

The highlight of the week was being able to bring MOST of my grades up and knowing what to do as my station for friday. this week, I was on probation for my classes because I had a "D" or "C" in that class. so I'd stay in, for tutoring and would take my time to talk to my teachers about my grade. So I was able to redo things, to help my grade go up to a higher grade. which it did! Also, there was no mistakes for Friday and had no trouble at all, being able to follow the correct directions we were told. But my lowlight of the week was not being able to bring ALL of my low grades by the end of the week, either because I never had time to do it or they were always busy. I always did, try to figure out what I could do to bring up my grade and I offer to do so, but I've been busy and when I do go to that class, the teacher is busy as well or is never around. 

My lesson learned is to always check up more than twice. Usually, I'd only check during my lunch to bring up my grades because that's when they usually tell me they're available but next time, I should jus check more often throughout the day and ask because we may never know and it's better than keying my grade stay the same, not knowing what to do. So next time, I'll check up more and I'll do my hardest to bring up the rest of my grades by the end of this week. overall, it was a good week.

Grad, banquet &&' class day forms

This whole week was basically about giving out forms to everyone and collecting money for me, it was kind of a struggle because of how much people that started to come in, last minute though hahaha. And we also had to start working on so much things for graduation and banquet, awards night etc.. Like medals, ribbons, etc.. Also, each period had to work together with the coins and packing them together. Overall, it's been a very busy week for all of us but it has been a good week.

My highlight of the week, is that I was able to get things done to bring up my grades like redoing some work for that specific class and talking to my teachers. Also, being there to pass out graduation forms for those who needed one. But my lowlight of the week, was not being able to be down to a101 to give out forms, on time during wiki because either my teacher wouldn't let me out or I forget. So my classmates would be by themselves, but no matter what I still do it too but just not early enough SOMETIMES. 

My lesson learned for the week is to always have a reminder or tell my teachers 5-6 minutes earlier, so that we have time to ask if we're able to go, why we have to go down, and to walk down to the class and to get ready, like setup on what forms were giving out and get the money collections. Then maybe I'll be down there right on time, but overall it has been a good and busy week. iknow further more weeks will be turning out to be like this, but we should be prepared and it is what it is. 

Orientation week

This week, we had a total of two orientations. First one was on Tuesday and the next was on Thursday, to finish off the rest and parent orientation. I have to say, that this was a good week. &&' yes. I've noticed some differences between these two orientations. The first time, I messed up on one of the parts of my speech, which was the school but the 2nd time I didn't mess up at all, and the 2nd time.. Orientation also went by faster because knew better on what to do. And we learned from our mistakes from our first orientation, so overall.. It was very busy but went by well! Thanks to mr.ing

Throughout this whole orientation thing I think that it was very very busy, but worth our time and it was fun experiencing something new, especially because it went by so smoothly,. Better than I expected, but what we can do to improve for the next time or if we had a chance to restart, is plan and do things ahead of time and help one another out and giving each hither reminders. And practicing everything more than a lot so we got it down, but overall. I think everyone did a great job. At first, I was very nervous but after my first sentence, I realized that there was nothing to worry about and I already got so used to it,

What I really liked about this orientation was meeting new people, and being able to share some things from our school. for an example, I went around the shook touring other schools about what and where everything is and as we were walking, some people asked me questions and not only about the school but also asking for my name and grade haha. But what I didn't like, was how quick we all had to do things like changing was a huge struggle, but we did it and pulled through. Also, messing up on my speech the first time, because honestly that was so embarrassing. But I honestly things that this whole orientation thing might've been hard and all, but it was very fun and enjoyable for me. I hope to do more things like this later. 

Assignment blog for first orientation

This week, last week, and many weeks before was mainly all about orientation, we was at first, slacking. but as soon as the day has gotten closer, we've gotten better and improved, because we all knew that this was something important and something that had to be done well enough for everyone, Although, we had some mini mistakes today during our first orientation, out of the 3.. which I'll talk about later, but overall it was pretty great and wasn't as scary as i expected, because we were prepared and fashion show and doing this orientation with everyone else, was honestly very fun. 

My highlight of this was being able to memorize my speech and being able to remmeber how things go. Today, I did my best to do this orientation exactly how it's supposed to be done, and as I went on stage to speech.. I was a little nervous but I was able to get it down and finish because halfway through, I wasn't nervous because I jus pretended like there was not a lot of people around watching me speak. But there was some mini mistakes, which lead to my lowlight. My lowlight of this wAs having several mistakes during this orientation, that shouldn't have happened because we've practiced many times, and thought that we were okay and weren't gonna have any mistakes, but ended having some mini ones. But overall, iknow that next time we will improve and it was actually pretty good. 

Have I met the GLOS? Yes. I did and let me tell you how...

Glo #1 : self directed learner - we each had to do things without being told and made sure that we checked up on eachother, knowing what we had to do.

Glo #2 : community contributor - when we heard or seen someone get up to dance or speak for orientation, we weren't allowed to say bad comments or anything bad. 

Glo #3 : complex thinker - meaning we had to try things on our own, and combine ideas with eachother. 

Glo #4 : Quality producer - meaning we had to do a really good job and made sure our work has been reliable and understandable for others to get attention and knowledge of. 

Glo #5 : effective communicator - meaning we would have to talk with others, like our group and help one another out. Even speaking towards the audience. 

Glo #6 : effective and Ethnical use of technology - meaning we were able to use technology safe and easy, like the projector to help trace for banners because free hand wasn't allowed and research for other things and I think I've met these GLOS, along with my classmates. 

Another busy week

This week was a good week. well, for me. I was one of those who had to go in class (a101) to set up and get ready to pass out banquet forms for the 8th graders and class day forms for the 7th graders. It was really busy, but it started to die down because then graduation forms started to get passed out from wenesday night at the meeting and today during morning recess for the 8th graders who haven't gotten a form. Also, throughout the day.. leadership and I had to practice and work a lot with orientation, so were ready and prepared for Mondays dress rehearsal and the actual orientation day. it was a good week overall though. 

My highlight of the week was being able to memorize my speech. FINALLY!!! and getting to come in early for the whole week, I sometimes come late because of whatever reason but not all the time, so this week it was able to come early enough to give out forms for everyone and i couldn't memorize my speech, until i kept reading it over and over and tried for once, and did it! Hahah. But my lowlight of the week, was not meeting my AR goal because it was a busy week for me, but I'm honestly almost done, jus 2.5 more points and I'm all cleared, I really hope for another good week. 

My lesson learned for the week is to never do things last minute, especially if it's important because it's always best to do things right on time, rather than late and all fustrated. Like for orientation, we first started off just sitting around, having to be told what to do when we all were supposed to know that orientation was coming up, so we'd have to focus more and get things done faster, before that day comes.so then we'd have to work extra harder, this is an important event as well so it was something real serious. But gladly, we finished right on time and was able to run through things and finish. Now we have to wing it. 

IDS

This week was an okay week.  Well first, period one and I had to come in to work shifts for Id's, we all had to work so that we cover everyone to have an id. Because some either loose theirs or break them, which causes them to have NO ID and will get in trouble. Also, we had to work a lot with the orientation, which is happening next week. So it's more to start focusin. 

My highlight of the week, was getting to start fresh and also getting more time to work with orientation. I was able to start off, not being on probation and we all had a good start because we knew what to do, &&' when to do it. And for orientation, we were given time to practice and to continue to work with orientation stuff because it's reaaaalllyyyyy important. But my lowlight of the week, was not completing a lot of orientation, we all were given aloooot of time to work on our orientation stuff with our groups, but most of us never finish a lot and were still asking for instructions. 

My lesson learned for the week is to never do things last minute, because that is when  you start to fustrated and struggle more because you have shortened time, and less ideas which causes us to rush. And we may never know, depending in how well and fast or how slow and bad we work, we may or may not finish right on time, when it's the important things. Like orientation, is really important because it's all on us, and others will be watching and listening to us such as incoming 7th graders and many parents/families. so we should think, talk through, and finish more faster.

Last week of qtr. 3

This week was one heck of a week! It was like a regular week, but since it was the last of the quarter.. I had to hurry and finish all assignments, and bring all my grades up including ar. So, I had to focus a lot on my assignments for the official grades for the quarter, wanting it to be okay and all passing. Also, we had orientation planning, like the speech and sketches, I guess it was an okay week. 

My highlight of the week, was getting to talk to all my teachers about my grades and getting to make up my grades from retaking &&' redoing some assignments, also having time to read and finish most of my ar. But my lowlight of the week, was not finishing my whole entire ar because some times i would have a hard time fixing and reding for ar, because of focus or I'm too worried about other things. But I think that I'll improve by the end of next quarter. 

My lesson learned for the week, is to always keep in mind that all work in school is important because everything counts as a grade. And if i can't focus while there is a lot f people around me, I could probably move seats or maybe read somewhere else, on my own time because although i got most of my ar done, i should still look foward to finishing my whole thing for a better grade and so I'm satisfied, because I do want to get better at it and I always say I'll improve, so I'll try my hardest! And will learn. Looking foward to a fresh quarter.

Spirit week

This week was literally all based upon spirit week. we all had to come to school before 6:30, not too early or too late just so we could set up for the mornings. Monday it was sports day, next was neon, next was aloha, military day, and our team color/shirts. And had a huge cheer off, relay, scavenger hunt, etc.. It was a really good week, but wasn't as quite perfect. 

My highlight of the week was being able to dress out and to have fun during this week, yes it was competitive and really frustrating, but honestly this week was really fun and made me feel so pumped to particapate in all, I also had things to use for the assigned dress out days, for my grades, so It wouldn't go down, but my lowlight of the week was not being able to finish my ar again, because it was a really busy week and I had no thoughts of it until it got to where people would bring it up, and also not being able to bring in can goods, or change etc..

My lesson learned for the week is to always put reminders In My planner, notes, or maybe even phone because it's important, and I wouldn't wanna fail. Also, I could've asked my family if they had anythin I could bring in for a good participation and will show that I've done something, also I would want my team to win because it sucks having to see that other teams are beating us goodly, but it's okay. this week was really fun and competitive, learned a lot through it all. Good job to everyone!! 

same weeeek

Well this week, I was supposed to get off probation, but I didn't which I'll explain later. Also, I was supposed to work Id's with my period one, but instead i had to come to school before or at 7:15  to credit for at least coming in for tutoring. We also needed to start getting things ready for spirit week, because we weren't reaally ready until Friday, but this week was a good week, but I still need improvement. 

My highlight of the week, was having to bring my grades up and to have the last time to prepare for spirit week, well I got to bring up one of my bad grades from redoing things and talking to my teachers, and as we weren't ready of spirit week, during our period one, and both advisory a, we were able to start things &&' finish it before Monday comes.  But the only thing is that it should've been done earlier.my lowlight of the week, was still not getting off probation for ar because the two chapter books I read, never had a quiz on just yet and again, I had many other things to do, but iknow that at is important as well.

My lesson Learned for the week, is to read more than one or two books to get ahead and be prepared in case something like that happens, and reaad during ALL of my open times, so I'm able to get something done and to finish it, because being on probation sucks, and I wouldn't want a bad grade just because of my ar, so I should read more than one or two, take notes for better chances of passing, and to never forget that ar is important too, so I know that it should be done, but hopefully I'll get off soon!

New weeeeeek

Well, this week period and MEEE was supposed to come in at or before 7:15 to work for the Morning Ilima tv, lunch music &&' also after school sales, but turns our that I wasn't able to, because I was on probabation, which sucks and is very sad. Also, we had to work on all of our yearbook pages, and get it done so were early. &&' practice our orientation dance as a group and get it down, so we're prepared and ready. 

My highlight of the week is that i was able to have sometime to bring my grades up, I was able to talk to my teachers about my grades and ask exactly, "how do I brig my grade up" they told me how, but yet, I still need to wait but my lowlight of the week was that I didn't get to finish AR because I was focused ona lot of different things, but dealing with school and I wasn't reading fast enough, feeling worried to take te test because I wasn't sure if I would pass it or not.

My lesson learned for this week, is to never slack and stay more focused on the important things. to me, everything that deals with school is important to me because I'm not looking foward to failing my last year here at Ilima, but moving on. I think that I should focus a lot more on the important things that has to get done and finish everything, and gets turned in on time so I wouldn't have to worry and my grades and all would be perfectly fine. , I also really don't like leaving period one to work alone.. I like to include myself, and work too for the better grades. so I find myself in a 20-30 situation. I hope to improve a lot more and Im gonna do my hardest, also to focus more. sorry.

At the library, finding books....

Muuuusssiicccc

This week, period one and I were I charge of morning and wiki music. Well, I'm glad that I was able to work all the way &&' knew when to work. I honeslty didn't mind and thought this was a good heck of a week. I never missed a day at all, besides Monday because I had to do things with my family but I was also feeling sick at the same time. 

My highlight of the week, was getting to work the whole week, and not putting myself into any probabation situation for AR or my grades. also, for working for both morning and wiki. But my lowlight of the week, was having to see my grades drop on friday, when progress reports came out, so now I know that next week, I'll have to come into bring my grades up so that I'm able to work and I won't fail. This wouldn't have happened if I focused a little but more and didn't start things so last minute. Looking foward to raising them up and for a whole new better week.

My lesson learned is to never put work last minute and to ALWAYS focus. yeah, sometimes there's a lot of things on my mind and a lot I have to do, but still.. I should be able to focus and get things done, but for some reasons, A LOT had been happening, and I've been in a rush, so It has been done last minute, so I'll have to focuse from now on andesite in my planners or something for reminders for my ar and grades so I don't slack. And I will always, check my work and start it from the start of the week, and get things done. but I'll be coming in for credit and to bring those grades up. Not bad tho, sorry blog was late because I had no electronics to use. 

Id's for the week

Well, this was an okay week. This whole week, period one and I had to come in to do the Id's for those who break or loose theirs, but instead I haven't been coming in because I was still on probation, but if come in the mornings for my credit. But this week was really fun, having to take the pictures of 8th grade class and the SBG's, and learning the assigned cultural dance for our period one, together.

My highlight of the week was keeping up my grades. usually, I wouldn't have entirely good grades, usually it would be dropped down, but instead. it stayed up, at to ALL a's and B's and just once C. But my lowlight of the week was not being able to work just because of AR. It rose up, so I had to read even more. also, a lot had been going on this week, so I would have to multi task on alotnof things &&' finish at the same time, but I guess I was just too slow, hoping to improve better next time. But overall, I know I could improve to do better and this week was alright, not the best or the worst. 

My lesson learned for the week is to never do things last minutes. doing things last minute makes things harder, more worried &&' also more work for us to do, and maybe even sometimes,  it probably may or may not get finished because we don't have all the time in the world, also I know that I could do better next time, but I will try my hardest next time. Although, it's been a REAAALLY long week, I shouldn't just stop but no should finished but idk what I was choosing honestly, but I'll learn.

Tv &&' afterschool sales

This week was okay, but I can't say it's the best which I will explain later. But this week, period one and I had to come in at or by 7:15 to setup the room for tv &&' to be able to start on time. Also, we would have to come into a101 after school, for afterschool sales. And during our wiki, all of double of us would have to come in to do the iPod for our schools lunch music. 

My highlight of the week, was not being on probation. This week, I was able to come early and i was able to work, because I finished my ar from last week &&' my grades weren't low at all. But my lowlight of the week was missing my day on tv, because I came really late from a doctors appointment, so i wasn't able to go on, but I still made it there a minute before we started so i helped. It made me feel bad for my group because everything was set, but i guess i ruined it that day. And also, someone working by themselves for iPod. 

My lesson learned for the week is to never ever work by yourself for whatever job it is, because it's unfair, someone might need help, and it's important. part of mr.ings rules right? &&' also to maybe remind my group earlier so they know weather or not I come late or gonna be absent but I only found out the night before so I had to text them. But I thank them all for understanding, &&' jahlyssa finally has her spot back! not looking foward to a lot of negatives but to better weeks! 

musiiiiiiic weeeek

This week was a good week. From Tuesday til today, period one and I had to work together with music for the mornings and wiki. setting up, putting away, saying announcements, and also controlling the music, but be at school at or by 7:15 and today from the morning til 12. Several of the leadership members including me went to bowling at schofield together to compete other schools. This week was a good week! 

My highlight of this week, was having straight a's as a start, and getting off of probation fast on Tuesday. I usually don't start off this good, but since my studying habits have gained better, then I've gotten better. Also, I focused well on Tuesday and got myself off of probation, being able to work this week with period one and we had nooo mistakes! which let's us know, that we improved alittle better. but my lowlight of the week, was not finishing my at again, when I was planning to finish it -.- but so much has been going on this week, &&' it's not a lot of points off.

My lesson learned for this week is to do ar aloooot, and many times throughout the day. and not when I feel like it, because I'll only put myself In this situation over and over again. And being in probation is scary, never good. I hate easing, but I also do. it's important for my grades and I'll need to pass it so thay I'm also able to work with my group, so that there's less problems and so I have a good grade. i will try my hardest to improve on this, but overall this week was an improved and great week! Hoping for more weeks like this. 

first week back

This week wasn't the best but it was okay. my group and I, period 1 had to come to school at or before 7:15 just so we could work for the Id's and help others get a new one in case it broke or wasn't found. we've worked well together and we were all here each day to help eachother, but yet we still had a little mistakes 3 times in a row. 

My highlight of the week was getting to work with my group and being able to show up on time. Usually,  I wouldn't be at school early or if be there a little too late but most of this week, I've improved. but my lowlight of the week was not big able to reach my weekly ar goal, I think that if I was to not worry too much about my classes but ar, then I would've been able to and would have less worrie. just needed to take two more tests and also not having a picture for the week, I didn't have my telephone because it wasn't working and I forgot to ask someone in my group. it's my fault and it's my responsibility.

My lesson learned for this week is to never do AR last minute and not to focus on other things more than ar, if i do, then it'll give me more worries but if I don't, I would've met it and I wouldn't put myself in this probation situation which is obviously never good. it's my responsibility and I should take better charge of it. And a picture for the week? I think i should write it on my planner or something to remind me, so that I don't forget and I have an completed blog, not missing a picture. Or to just get another phone or ipod etc.. I will improve the best I can, and I'm sorry.
