Id's week

This week was great, this whole week.. each of us had to come in early before or at 7:15 , so we could create Id's for those who breaks and looses there Id's or in case needs a clip, planner, or lanleyard but this only got to happen, on Monday, Thursday, and Friday. because there was no school wenesday, and there was a leadership retreat throughout the week. But also. When they were gone, we were able to help label the books to keep us active and not sitting around.

My highlight of the week was finally having no mistakes within our job that we had to do. Each day of doing Id's I had no mistakes and we knew exactly what to do, also.. we worked quicker, because before we would have SOME mistakes, but not a lot and we'd work kinda slow to where they'd be waiting, but my lowlight of the week was not being able to work for the other days, and not having a picture from the DAY in the WEEK. it was reaally boring and there wasn't really anything to do during wiki, and I had no phone to take pictures. but yet this week was good. 

My lesson learned for this week is to always find a way to get a picture for every blog that we do, next time I could just ask someone to take a picture for me of our job, an id, or of me working and could just send it to me, so that I am able to use it for my blog and have no problems . Or I could just take a picture of something relating to leadership and Id's. Like mines. I knew I should've done something, but I guess i wasn't smart enough to do so, but now I know what I could do next time if this happens.

Interview For leadership

This interview was good, i understood the questions well &&' was able to answer it all. i knew exactly what to say for all 4 questions, and for the video, i wasn't able to do it at home but i had the chance to do it in advisory with the tri-pod during school, and I was glad that I had help of doing it from my group leader.

My highlight of this was getting to talk about leadership, letting everything out and explains it all so each of us know how were doing and what were feeling, do I hope for more interviews like these. But my lowlight of this was not finishing my video of answering the questions for the interview on time, so I then took up my group leaders time to help me do it during advisory and I thank her for that, but I learned from it and know that I should start ahead of time next time. 

GLOS : 

Glo 1 is self directed learner, we had to do our assignment without being told and turned in ON TIME. glo 2 is community contributor, when we seen others recording, we had to respect them. glo 3 is complex thinker, we had to use our own ideas and made sure we explained it well, with responsibility. glo 4 is quality producer, meaning that our assignment had to be reliable and very understandable/explainable for others to understand. glo 5 is effective communicator, so we had to make sure we expressed our answers well, and knew what to say and glo 6 is effective and ethical use of technology, also meaning that we were able to use the technology for example, computer, phone, camera, etc. Responsibly and safely.. i think, I applied this all well enough to this assignment.

Tv, lunch music, after school sales ayee

This week was okay. The job that me and my group had was tv, lunch music, and after schools sales. We would have to be at school for tv at or before 7:15 We would have to make intros the day before, create the lunch music playlist the night before, and be in a101 for after school sales, 5 minutes earlier so we are able to set up and be ready. This goes for all of us, so each of us would have to show up, and this happened throughout this whole week, we've had many positives but therefor, some negatives...

My highlight of the week was being able to come early and to help set up, usually I wouldn't make it at or before 7:15 but now I am able to, like this week. Also, I was able to learn from my mistakes eventhough I shouldn't have had mistakes, And my lowlight of the week was having more mistakes than we should. Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. we had NO intros, because someone either forgot or chose to do it the day of when your not supposed to. so we had to create a easy fake one on that day on the computer. Also, on Monday, Tuesday, and wenesday. we had no lunch music playlists uploaded so there wasn't any music for lunch. It wasn't a good thing because it made us look bad and our grades as a group, was low because of those reasons. But now we should know better, also so we don't give our group leader stress.

My lesson learned for the week is to make intros the day before, not the day of we go on, because we aren't supposed to and if we came late, were not gonna have alot of time. So we wouldn't be able to put all or a lot of quality into it, or something wrong would happen to it, which will then give us a bad grade which is never good. Also, to make playlists the night before, through the times he will except it, because there shouldn't be any excuses cause someone in our group would or should be able to it, goes for me as well, before our grades go down. We should all know by now, and hope for a better, improved week next week (; 

Assignment Blog (Zumba)

This assignment is based on the Zumba routine. We first had to choose a song, which was timber by pitbull and had a chosen leader for the group, which was julia. She was the one who had to break down the steps and to say it out loud for the people to hear and know what comes up next. It was a task for each period to do, and we had to make the routine based on Zumba (excersising) , whoever would get the MOST participants would get the "A" grade, second most would get the "B" grade, and the period with the least particapants would get the "c" grade, this was to help us with teamwork and communication.

My highlight of this assignment was being able to combine our ideas and to at least have some fun. My period and I, all did our jobs of thinking what excersises and moves we could use for our Zumba routine, we all had an idea of what we could do. Yet, we just combined all our ideas and had some fun doing this task because it was kinda like dancing and had some laughter. I'm glad that a lot of people enjoy our routine as well, My lowlight of this assignment was telling 2 people, not to dance for others periods.i can't lie about it. I think I only told them 2, because i didn't want a lot of trouble but also, I didn't want the low grade for my period either. This contains to each glo because we had to use our own thinking on what/how to do things, we had to do a lot of speaking and communicating to sharing our ideas and making sure others understood, we had to use our OWN thoughts and not stealing any other moves from another, and we had to do things on our own time, and did this without being told or ahead of time.

Glo 1 is self directed learner, we had to do our task which was Zumba without being told and finished in ON TIME. glo 2 is community contributor, when we performed in front of the school, we had to respect other performances and pay attention, also particapate.  glo 3 is complex thinker, we had to try things on our own, and come up with ideas for the dance so we had to make sure that we were able to think of ideas and got it done responsibly. glo 4 is quality producer, meaning that it should be easy and reliable for others to do and see. glo 5 is effective communicator, so we had to make sure we were an effective listener for each performance and expressed our ideas well.  and glo 6 is effective and ethical use of technology, also meaning that we were able to use the technology for example, the computer responsibly and safely. To me, I applied this well enough to this assignment.

My lesson learned for this assignment, is to never give up and to never tell others what and what not to do. Giving up is never the key, because you'll never learn from it and won't see the outcome of anything, you may never know. And telling others what and what not to do, is never the key either because it could affect on others and yourself. It's also, not really fair for others, because I know that I wouldn't want anyone to do that to my period either, so I honestly shouldn't have done that but yet it wasn't a lot. I'm still proud of each period, wether they got the highest or not. One thing we could change to do better, if we were able to do this again is to have more better memorizing and speaking skills, so that your ready to share it with others, because if not.. the audience wouldn't know what to do or how to do it, so this would be off but we could do better, and maybe solve it. I am looking foward to something else like this, i had fun and also stress doing this.

Music week

This week was a great week. Our job was to come to school ready to set up speakers, and to the play the music with no mistakes. Well, I was able to come the whole week at 7:15 or before that, and did everything well with no mistakes. I've done this for awhile, which made me get used to it and I also got better at it. Things went smoothly, and I never really needed help because I knew how to do things by now. I hope for another week like this.

My highlight of the week was being able to do things correctly, meaning that I finally knew how to do things right. This week, I had no struggles with music.. Setting up was fast and simple, and so was playing the music, meaning I knew when to die it down for the next song, and when to say the announcements because i managed my time. My lowlight of the week, was not meeting my ar percent yet. I did read and all, but since internet went down, I hardly got to take them. But I should've known that I would've happened since it was the end of the quarter so I could've done it ahead of time and during a better time, but now I know when and what to do next time.

My lesson learned is to always find a way to fix something, and to not give up right then! I figured that since the internet went down, I didn't take a test but I still could've asked others like teachers if there's was down, or not and if so, is be able to use it for a test. And giving up, it's never a good choice because it's not gonna do you any better or help. It's only gonna hold you back, and when I find out that I'm gonna still have to do it, it would still be last minute which would make me feel more fustrated, but the next week back. id do and know better than that. Well, have a good fall break everyone!!

Qtr 1 assignment blog

This quarter was quite a good and a bad quarter, I'm getting good grades and all, but in the beginning of first quarter, and a little towards the middle..I was struggling on my ar, and was on probation for awhile, but later i finished and got off and able to work with all assignments done, until I found out my ar reading percent wasn't to 85% so i now have to read again to meet it up. But this quarter was really fun and good, I just need to be more focus for next quarter so that things go way better than this quarter. Also, there wasn't much drama for any of us. I guess this quarter went through smoothly.

My highlight of the quarter was being able to keep my grades up. This quarter i got two c's that I brought up easily because I retook things. And I just kept it up, as b's and a's, rather than anything lower. But my lowlight of the quarter was not getting 4.0 and being on probation for too long. I could've been able to bring up my b's really easily, and I don't know why I didn't and being on probation isn't good, because then I was failing another class.. but I still fixed it up. And I also wasn't able to work which really sucked because I couldn't do anything and my grade for leadership was just getting later until I was able to bring it up, and was off of probation. What I could do better, is be more focused on school to get things done faster and easier, and maybe I would get 4.0 or i would pass things, and not feeling worried at list minute.

My lesson learned for the quarter is "procastination isn't the key" I was going well through your the quarter, but what happened was that I procrastinated a lot. Like for my projects and ar. For my projects, I had about two one for science and another for social studies. It wasn't really simple, which was why I shouldn't have procrastinated because I knew that i was gonna need time to do it with the best effort and turned in on time, but it wasn't because I got distracted too much. And for ar, I passed all, my whole goal but my percent which I thought I did, but I didn't. So I was still trying to bring it up, and until I reach 85% I was getting alittle fustrated, but still never have up on completing it, also because I didn't want my grades to drop.
